The Sun & Steel Commercial Bay Door is the back-of-span loading door on our Multi-Span greenhouse — an insulated roll-up curtain sized for vehicles, forklifts, and bulk pallet flows in a working production house. One bay door per span, fitted to the same Ø100 mm flanking main posts that frame the front-face auto sliders, so the structural envelope stays clean on both ends.
The 8'6" x 12 ft opening clears a standard 8 ft tractor or pallet jack with margin, and lands directly on the eave purlin so the roll-up coil tucks just under the gutter line. Insulated slats keep climate inside the house when the door is down, and the same Sun & Steel Mobile App that runs the front auto sliders raises and lowers the bay doors with end-of-travel switches.

Where it fits
Specified as a default add-on on the Multi-Span Standard and Heavy — one bay door per span on the back (loading-aisle) face. The configurator lets you remove or add bay doors on a per-span basis; spans without a bay door get full insulated end-wall cladding instead.
