The Sun & Steel Multi-Span Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) Building comes in three models to suit any commercial or industrial demand. Unlike clear-span structures, this system utilizes heavy-duty interior columns to connect modular 40-foot spans. This multi-span architecture allows for virtually unlimited widths at a fraction of the cost of red iron, making it perfect for massive warehouses, manufacturing floors, and multi-bay workshops.
The Standard Model delivers proven performance utilizing 14-gauge galvanized C-channel framing with 20-foot bay spacing down the length of the building. The Heavy Model pushes further with ultra-rigid 12-gauge framing, tight 10-foot bay spacing, and 24-gauge roof sheeting — engineered for extreme snow loads, high winds, and heavy commercial use.
