Precision Light Control. Compact Footprint.
The Sun & Steel 30ft Light Deprivation Greenhouse is a purpose-built structure for growers who need full photoperiod control in a tight footprint — spanning 30 feet wide and rising to a 16-foot peak with full 8-foot standing clearance across the entire interior. Both models include a full manual blackout cover system, light-tight end wall panels, roll-up ventilation sides that seal completely for dep cycles, a single 8’6″ sliding vehicle door, insect mesh ventilation, and UV-stabilized poly film on a galvanized steel frame — 6-mil on the Standard, 8-mil on the Heavy.
The Standard Model features 7 arches at 5 ft on centre — straightforward to operate, easy to set up, and built for growers running consistent light dep cycles without extreme snow loads. The Heavy Model steps up to 9 arches at 3.75 ft on centre, 2.5 mm arch walls, a three-tier W-support truss on every arch, and heavier pipe diameters throughout — the same steel spec as the heavy commercial tunnels, in the most compact light dep footprint we offer.
Lite — where snow is rare and light · Standard — built for frequent and moderate snow loads · Heavy — tightest arch spacing and heavier gauge for the deepest snow loads
