Light Dep Mini

The Sun & Steel Light Dep Mini brings full photoperiod control to a backyard footprint. At 8 feet wide, 10 feet at the peak, and 7 feet at the sidewall, it wraps a fully-trussed gothic steel frame in a light-tight white blackout tarp instead of clear film — so you dictate the day length on a small plot, with genuine commercial-grade construction underneath: a galvanized bottom cord, W-diagonal, and return pipe form a real truss system on every interior arch.

The Standard runs 4-ft-on-centre gothic arches, 3 purlin runs, and a ground-driven anchor system with no concrete required. The Heavy tightens the arch spacing to 3 ft on centre, adding roughly 33% more structural capacity in the same footprint — the right call for colder climates and Northern winters. Available in 12 ft, 24 ft, and 36 ft lengths; the reference build below is the 24 ft length (7 Standard / 9 Heavy arches). Every kit ships with the white blackout tarp cover and aluminum channel throughout.
